One of the many community cats who rely on cat rescue volunteers to provide them with food and water in Antioch, California on August 28, 2014.  In cooperation with the city, cat rescue volunteers purchased and installed feeding stations in one of the areas where community cats gather.  In 2014 the Antioch City Council passed a ban on the feeding of community cats on public property.  In August, 2014, a cat rescue volunteer was cited $500.00 for feeding the cats.
