The rededication ceremony for the Washington Plaza apartments was held on March 4, 2015 in Sacramento, California.  The ceremony was a program of speakers, a ribbon cutting, and lunch for attendees and residents of this senior housing community.  This affordable housing community is located in the historic Alkali-Mansion Flats neighborhood of Sacramento and underwent a $43 million renovation partnered by the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency and San Francisco based developer Bridge Housing.  Speakers were Ann Silberberg (Executive Vice President of BRIDGE Housing Corporation), Hon. Steve Hansen (Councilmember, Disctrict 4, City of Sacramento), La Shelle Dozier (Executive Director, Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency), Ari Beliak (Vice President, Community Development Banking, Bank of American Merrill Lynch), Barney Deasy (President, Merritt Community Capital Corporation), Steve Traynor (Senior Vice President, Member Financial Serivces and Community Investment, Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco), and George Coles (Resident, Washington Plaza).
