Day 27: self isolation/covid 19/2020.
Thunder. That low rolling sonorous sound off in the distance, or that piercing loud crack when it strikes. When I was growing up in Virginia the summer storms were both exciting and terrifying. Always signaled by thunder the summer storms brought rain that eased the summer heat but also intensified the humidity. Thunder - it’s the signal that something is coming, change is going to happen. The atmosphere is opening up in the midst of fear. As I rolled out my yoga mat to meet the morning sun, the light filtered through the large window and flickered across my mat reminding me that change is coming amidst the fear.
