The opening reception at the Harvey Milk Photo Center in San Fransciso, Calfornia for the "LGBTQ Chronicled: 1933-2016 Celebrating Pride" photography exhibit was held on Saturday evening, June 18, 2016. This group photography exhibit features a historic body of photographs of the Bay Area Pride movement and will be at the Harvey Milk Photo Center from June 18 - July 16, 2016. Photographers Saul Bromberger and Sandra Hoover were featured with their historic body of photographs chronicling the Pride Parade held every year in San Francisco; the documentary work of Preston Gannaway; and the recent photojournalistic coverage of the candlelight vigil held in San Francisco after the Orlando massacre by Gabirelle Lurie were included in the show along with selections of historic photographs. The Opening Reception featured speakers, comments from the photographers, and some of the people in the images, as well as an appearance by Peaches Christ at the end of the evening.
